It's almost the end of January, which means it's almost time to fly home. In fact, next wednesday is the beginning of the two week vacation with my dad and that's it then. The adventure 'Tenerife' is coming to an end. So I wanted to use my last days to look back at the past five months and see what has happened.

Masca Gorge and Kayaking
View over Masca and the gorge
In celebration of World Mental Health Day on October 10th, the Fundación En Pié organized a charity event to raise awareness and collect donations. A friend of mine here in La Laguna always takes part in these events and is friends with some of the founders of the organization, so we asked a few people and decided to come along. It is a good cause after all, but it was also a perfect opportunity to explore the island a little more and spend a great day outside.

The Good Life - An Update
So after over a month in Tenerife, I'm finally finding the time and motivation to report on what's been going on and how life is on the island.

I'm Back + Exciting News!
I know, I know… I'm sorry. I've been slacking again. Turns out keeping up the blog alongside Uni is much harder than I thought. BUT I am gonna try again. I am going to try to be more organized and actually prepare Blog posts ahead of time that I can publish time after time. I already have several ideas for the next few posts. I'm also keeping a little notebook where I write down all my ideas and things I want to blog about.

Father-Daughter-Weekend
This weekend my dad came to visit. Since I moved two hours from my hometown I don't see my parents very often anymore. Therefore I was really happy when my dad decided to spend saturday and sunday at my place.

What I Got For Christmas
This year I didn't really know what to wish for. Since I'm living on my own I just buy whatever I want or need whenever I what or need it myself. Therefore my 'big' present this year was some shopping money from my dad to spend on my weekend trip to London with my sister the week before Christmas. With this money I bought myself a t-Shirt from Topshop, a Hollister Cardigan and the Victoria's Secret Pure Seduction Body Scrub and Fragrance Mist. I always wanted to try the Pure Seduction Series or just anything from Victoria's Secrets body care line as you hear everyone ranting about it for years. Well spend money in my opinion :)
